Just like buying and selling of physical precious metals, Pool Allocated can be either sold at a later date for its value or if you wish to take possession of your Silver, there will be a barring fee applied. Please ask one of our friendly team members for details.

What is the ‘barring fee’?

Barring fees cover the costs of fabricating our Pool Allocated Products into a specific bar or coin that a client wishes to purchase.

The barring fee is only charged if you want to convert your Pool Allocated holdings into physical metal for you to take out of storage.

If you elect to sell back your holdings for cash, no barring premium will be charged, simply the buyback price of Pool Allocated at the time of your transaction will be applied.

Barring Fee example

The barring fee is the difference between the selling price of any physical bullion product and the selling price of same amount of grams of pool allocated.

For Example, assuming current selling price of 1 kg of Pool Allocated gold is $1,585.00 and a 1 kg Silver Cast Bar is selling (retail price at the time of transaction) for $1,710.00.

In this example, the barring fee for a 1 kg bar would be, the difference between the 1 kg bar price of $1,710.00 and 1 kilogram of pool allocated Silver worth $1,585.00, being $125.00.
